Landscape Analysis of STT Interventions for Children (L. Friedman & C. Wolfheim, MCSP 2019)
The Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP), with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), conducted a review on behalf of the Child Health Task Force to explore countries’ experiences adding thrive and transform interventions to platforms used to deliver child survival interventions. The review seeks to map out existing global guidance and understand operational experiences primarily in three African countries, Kenya, Senegal and Zambia, with some examples also presented from Ghana and Rwanda.

Who are the real CHWs in DRC? - (BMJ Global Health, 2019)
This BMJ Global Health article examines the role of traditional healers in care seeking and case management for childhood illness and malnutrition in Tshopo Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The findings imply that traditional healers may be acting as de facto CHWs in many settings and that policymakers should engage with and consider this group of health workers when planning child health services.

Using Data to Design an Evidence-based Social and Behavior Change Program in Rural Nepal - (SHOPS PLUS, 2019)
This brief report shows how SHOPS Plus collected data from hundreds of women in rural Nepal to pinpoint barriers to healthy behavior adoption. In collaboration with the Nepal CRS Company, SHOPS Plus then used the findings as the foundation for district-specific social and behavior change programs focused on contraceptive access and choice, diarrhea treatment and prevention, antenatal care, and facility delivery.
